There are websites that sell ladies contact information which includes their phone number.  If you speak spanish then calling them would not be a problem for you.   But, how many other guys are calling her too.  What if you do not speak spanish, what do you do?  You could enlist the sevices of a translator when you call her, but this could be very expensive over time.  Maybe you decide to write her letters and mail them to her address?  The only problem with that is the mail delivery system in the Dominican Republic is unreliable at best, chances are very good she will never receive your letters.

The best way to communicate with and get to know your Dominican Sweetheart if you don't speak spanish is through email and online with instant messenger.  By know you are probably still wondering how?  The answer is language translation software.  No....I am not trying to sell you language translation software because you can use it free from Google.  Thats right, open a new browser window and go to www.google.com, next to the search box click "Language Tools", under the title "Translate text"  enter the text to be translated.  Make sure you select the language you are translating from and to in the drop down menu's below your text and then click on the translate button.

Note of caution: It is best to only translate words, phrases or short sentences.  If you try to translate entire paragraghs or pages your intended meaning may literally be lost in translation.

Once your message has been translated you can copy/paste it into email or instant messenger to seamlessly communicate and understand during your online conversations with her.  This goes without saying you could copy/paste her message from an email or instant message and translate it with google's translator too.

Lastly, it would be very helpful if you began learning some spanish, as most of the woman do not speak english.  My Dominican girlfriend speaks some english and takes english classes at the University in Santiago.  I speak some spanish and have CD's from Instant Immersion to learn and improve my spanish.

Together, using the google translator and learning the others language, we are able to communicate to each other almost anything (with understanding) in spanglish.
